It was the 2nd weekend in April in Northeast (Cleveland) Ohio, and they were forcasting snow flurries..  My brother Joe had just bought a Harley Sportster that he was dying to ride, and I was upset because the local drag strip decided not to open.  We both knew that 160 miles to the south (& then a little East) was a legendary place where racers were HARD CORE, and the sun was always shining,  SSOO, we tossed the 'hog-let' in the Syclone and hit the road!  It was snowing lightly as we left Clevland, but by the time we Arrived at National Trails, 30 minutes East of Columbus, it was partly sunny and 50 degrees.  This was their second meet of the season, and it was quite crowded.  I made two time runs (12.80's), then slept my way out in the first round, against a Camaro.   The pictures are from Joe... He was unimpressed by the Harley & decided to spectate..  But it looks cool, right Joe!  After a long Winter, Joe got to ride his motorcyle (around the pits), and I got my drag racing "fix".     We bench-raced and ate McNuggets all the way home......
